As I had promised, in this article we will see how to make a plant-based spicy cheese spread from the probiotic oats that we have already prepared. A probiotic recipe, with many antioxidant-anti-inflammatory elements, good fats, complete protein, minimal carbohydrates, which contributes to detoxification and the boosting of the immune system. FERMENTED OATS - THE EASIEST HEALTHIEST SOURDOUGH STARTER - THOMAIS DE FOIS

A recipe without the allergenic proteins that contribute to autoimmune diseases: gluten (from flours), casein, lactose, antibiotics & hormones (from dairy products), harmful additives (from vegan products), soy (allergenic & disrupts hormones by mimicking oestrogen).

 

Let's examine the high nutritional value of the recipe and how it benefits our health.


Vitamins

B (Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folic Acid), C, E, A. Vitamin B12 (created in the gut by the probiotic bacteria).

 

All 9 Essential Amino Acids

(The body uses these to create protein wherever it needs it) *No, protein is not just meat! Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine

Straight to the Recipe, then.


Here I show you quantities for about 100ml. You can adjust it as you like, adding or removing ingredients as you test it. Due to the probiotics, it keeps for a very long time in the fridge, and the taste matures and develops excellently!


Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic & put them in a bowl. If you prefer, mash them.

Add 1 teaspoon of thyme

1 heaping teaspoon of turmeric (excellent for arthritis)

One teaspoon of ginger

Half a teaspoon of black pepper (essential for the absorption of curcumin)

Half (or less) a teaspoon of smoked paprika

A bit of cayenne pepper (as much as you can tolerate, excellent for cardiovascular health). If you don't have it, use chilli flakes.

2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. You can add more at the end if you want (essential for the absorption of curcumin, among other benefits)

3-4 heaping tablespoons of probiotic oats

And mix well

Now add as much lemon as you like. It's best to taste as you go, since the oats already have an acidic flavour, similar to yogurt (and aroma).

The same goes for the salt. Use Himalayan salt or unrefined sea salt. It will provide us with many minerals and electrolytes (sodium chloride, etc., not just table salt).

Mix well, taste to see if you want to add anything, and you're ready to enjoy it!!

Either with our bread, as a spread, or as a dip for whatever you like.

Honestly, you'll be surprised at how much it tastes like a natural spicy cheese spread, with its flavours, and how it satisfies our hunger. It contains plenty of dietary fibre that keeps us full for hours!

 

Thus, no one needs to miss out on the cheesy flavour or deal with numerous vegan products that are not really food, but gluten and toxic chemicals..!

TIPS


Add Fresh Herbs: You can incorporate fresh, chopped herbs to complement your recipes. For example:


Dill and/or Fennel: Great for pairing with fish and shellfish.


Mustard Powder or Probiotic Mustard: You can use mustard powder or easily make probiotic mustard to enhance the flavour of roasted dishes, mushrooms, sandwiches, etc. (link, below)


Nutmeg, Cloves, Allspice: Use these for more wintery recipes.


Other Herbs: Rosemary, oregano, sage, marjoram (wonderful), and tarragon pair excellently with many dishes.


Enhance Therapeutic Benefits: Add dried nettle or dandelion to boost the therapeutic effects.


For Pasta Sauce: Dilute with a bit of broth or just water for an excellent sauce.


Great Addition to Soups: Boost soups with probiotics and beneficial elements.


*When using probiotics in your food for their benefits, never heat them, as the bacteria can tolerate up to 40-45°C, and you don’t want to destroy them. The same goes for extra virgin olive oil. Add them to your dish when it’s at a tolerable temperature for consumption.
